美国太空探索科技公司（SpaceX）的“星舰”（Starship）火箭今天从德州发射升空，展开迄今第14次试飞，根据直播画面，这枚巨型火箭已首度进入地球轨道。

法新社报导，“星舰”为全球史上最大火箭，高逾120米，于格林威治时间（GMT）12时48分后不久升空，火箭上级已与助推器分离，目前以超过每小时2万6300公里的速度，在277公里高度的地球轨道飞行。

SpaceX为科技富豪马斯克（Elon Musk）旗下公司，在6月备受瞩目的首次公开募股（IPO）后，加快步伐进行第14次试飞，并设定了雄心勃勃的目标。

这次试飞预计持续约10小时，实验火箭上级已飞入地球轨道，将在轨道部署26枚新一代星链（Starlink）卫星。

路透社报导，“星舰”设计目标是更频繁发射SpaceX星链卫星，并执行未来的美国航空暨太空总署（NASA）登月任务。

这次飞行为“星舰”迄今最长的一次，期间将绕地球飞行6圈，最后溅落于智利西方的太平洋。
