President Trump is already putting Democrats on notice with a bright red hat bearing just one word: “VETO.” As Democrats look to take control of Congress, Trump is signaling he plans to use one of the strongest powers of his office to block legislation he opposes. “They’ll send over things that are insane and I’ll veto them,” Trump tells Fox News, predicting repeated vetoes could eventually bring Democrats to the negotiating table. But Trump says those conversations may already be starting, revealing that several Democrats have reached out to him since the election.
