俄勒冈校园枪击案枪手曾为特教学生母子合影流出

Griffin J. John II, 16, shot the glass out of a locked side door at Silver Rail Elementary in Bend, Oregon on Thursday and forced his way in. About a minute earlier he'd fired into a car in the parking lot. He walked into the first classroom he reached. A special-needs room. Three kids, ages 5, 8 and 11, and their 25-year-old teacher were killed, all of them in that one class. He knew the room. Back in 2020 he was a special-ed student at Silver Rail himself, in a program for kids with intensive behavioral and social challenges. Relatives say he'd been taught in the same classroom he opened fire in. The gun was a Maverick 88 pump 12-gauge. His mother bought it in August, around his birthday. He brought nearly 60 shells and fired about 15 before Kaylub Giamanco, a dad on his lunch break with two girls at the school, chased him in and shot him dead. Oregon makes you 18 to buy a shotgun. 社交媒体照片折射阴暗面

据《纽约邮报》引述消息报道，这张引发关注的照片由枪手的母亲沙恩泰·梅·尼克森（Shauntai May Nickerson）于9月10日发布在个人社交平台上。照片拍摄于一处瀑布前，画面中的格里芬留着细小胡须，身穿宽大连帽衫，与母亲并肩而立，但其眼神冰冷、面露不悦。

距离这张照片发布仅五天后的9月15日，格里芬便手持一把12口径Maverick 88泵动式霰弹枪，闯入位于本德市的银轨小学行凶，造成三名学生与一名教师不幸遇难。据执法部门消息人士透露，该作案枪支疑由其母购买。

曾被纳入特殊教育支持计划

调查同时揭示了枪手过去的教育经历。根据公开记录显示，母子二人曾于2020年接受媒体采访。当时，当地班德拉派恩学区（Bend-La Pine School District）推行了一项名为“NEST”的特殊教育计划，旨在协助因新冠疫情面临重返校园困难的学生。

尼克森在当时接受NewsChannel 10采访时坦言，年仅十岁的格里芬在居家学习期间遭遇了诸多挑战。她曾表示：“我没有受过教导特殊需求学生的专业训练，让儿子从具备专业能力的教师那里获得所需协助，对他会很有帮助。”据了解，格里芬过去正是银轨小学特殊教育教室的学生。

枪手强行闯入特教教室，平民英雄挺身而出

执法部门还原了事发当天的惊险过程。15日下午，格里芬携带霰弹枪抵达银轨小学，向校舍上锁的大门开枪后强行闯入，随后直奔他曾就读的特殊教育教室。

危急关头，当时趁午休驾车回家的木匠吉亚曼科（Kaylub Giamanco）恰好目睹了格里芬持枪进入校园的全过程。他毫不犹豫地挺身而出，一路追入校内并果断开枪，最终将行凶者击毙，阻止了更大规模悲剧的发生。目前，这起案件的善后工作与深层原因仍在进一步调查中。
