若大家稍加留意，便会在新加坡的街角巷陌间发现一种圆形标志牌，它们镶嵌在古老建筑的墙面上，标明着名称、年份与一段简短的往事。这些标志牌所守护的，是76处国家古迹——由国家文物局（NHB）认定的特殊建筑与遗址，在历史、传统、考古、建筑或艺术领域承载着不可替代的价值。自1973年首批名单公布以来，这份名录在岁月中不断生长。
