U.S. Marshals Museum matching campaign tops $5 million

The U.S. Marshals Museum in Fort Smith, Arkansas has received a $500,000 pledge from Pat and Jim Wallis, pushing its matching campaign past the $5 million mark. The 'New Frontier of Giving' campaign, launched with an anonymous $12 million donation, aims to raise a total of $24 million to support civic education and preserve the history of the nation’s first federal law enforcement agency. The 53,000-square-foot museum, which opened in July 2023, operates as a non-profit without direct government funding.
