Texas to Launch Unified Statewide Food Truck Permit to Cut Regulatory Red Tape

Starting July 1, Texas will implement a universal statewide operating permit for food trucks under House Bill 2844, eliminating the need for expensive city-by-city inspections and licensing fees. The law is designed to allow mobile food vendors to travel freely across jurisdictions without losing entire work days to redundant inspections.
