Micro-wedding venue Sign and Celebrate wins $10,000 at inaugural 'The Pitch' in Tacoma

Tacoma Rising hosted its first business-challenge event, 'The Pitch,' where 10 local small businesses competed for a $10,000 prize. Sign and Celebrate, a micro-wedding and event space business, secured the win. Founders Cherise Klosner and Sam De La Cruz plan to use the funds to boost marketing and visibility. Organized by Reid Fetters, the event aims to strengthen Tacoma's business ecosystem by providing mentorship and direct investment to startups in their first five years of operation.
