Walmart annual revenue up almost 5%, net income up 12.6%

Walmart reported a 4.7% increase in annual revenue to $713.2 billion, driven by strong e-commerce growth and gains among high-income households. While the retail giant's net income rose 12.6% to $21.9 billion, CEO John Furner noted that lower-income consumers remain under pressure, continues to manage spending paycheck to paycheck amid persistent inflation.
